The Scrap Mobile

In 1999, a bus was donated to us by a gentleman in southern Illinois. Currently we are cataloging the journey of the bus. To date we await its presence.

We plan to use the bus as a roving version of the warehouse. After a wash of color, the removal of the seats and an on board display are installed, the LFS bus plans to hit the streets.

But before we can crank the starter, the bus needs some tender loving care. The students at Kendall College of Art and Design proposed their color scheme as seen below. It also needs a serious tune up and the usual roster of needs that mechanical things require.

We have currently recieved $1,500.00 towards our $5,000.00 goal. If you would like to see your name or company’s name in lights please review our levels of giving.
