History
Founded in 1999 as a High Scope community project for a teacher consultant in training, the initiative has grown as one of several under the non-profit (501c3), Authentic Learning Alliance. The initiative now has over 4000 sq. ft. of warehouse space, a retail site (plus several satellite sites), several pick-up vehicles and numerous volunteers.
